We are grateful for the kind and generous support of our partners in enabling us to deliver life-changing opportunities for students, and ground-breaking research and educational projects.

Alumni-funded studentships

Our alumni support BU in so many ways. Current financial support programmes, funded by our graduates, include:

  • Grants to support final-year students who are also single parents
  • A hardship fund for students on tourism programmes
  • A placement opportunity fund for students on tourism programmes.

Aziz Foundation grants for Muslim students

We have partnered with the Aziz Foundation to provide Muslim students enrolling on selected postgraduate courses with funding to cover their tuition fees. We have committed to supporting up to three students per year through this partnership, which also includes great opportunities for mentoring and development.

ESET Women in Cyber Studentship

We are partnering with digital security company ESET to provide three female students enrolling on an undergraduate programme in cyber security with a £5k studentship. This is part of ESET’s work to attract more women to train for and join the cyber industry.
