Address a global challenge
Practice pitching your solutions in front of a panel of professional assessors.
GTP has joined forces with BU alum, academics and local industry experts to bring the unique Global Sustainable Project Lab as part of stage 4. Over two afternoons you will have the opportunity to take part in a project management masterclass and work on a sustainable project in response to a real-life challenge in cross faculty groups.
Day 1: 4 March
An introduction to sustainable projects management masterclass and engagement with stakeholders followed by our project sponsor BU alumnus Brian Heppenstall who will provide a challenge brief for our real-life sustainable project.
Student project teams will pitch their strategies and project initiation ideas in the board room, answer questions and receive feedback. Students will also hear from real-life sustainable projects being delivered in the local area from Emily Fergusson, BCP Council.
While open to other BU students, this workshop is designed and delivered specifically for the students participating in the Global Talent Programme. Attendance and reflection from the session allow students to gain core credit towards their Disciplined Researcher badge.
